About Me
Hi, I'm Nguyen Thien Phuoc. Online friends usually call me Leviron, my longest, most sustained in-game nickname. My first language is Vietnamese, but I opt to use English for everything in this rat race era. I was born in 2005 and graduated in Oct 2026. I love video games, and like most of the boys, sometimes I have crazy motivation at 2 a.m.
My Work
My projects used to just be coursework projects, but later on, I built stuff to fix real problems and to win some prizes ofc, and I'm passionate about it.
Based on the serial position effect, I'll mention my proudest ones first LOL
#1 HappyGen: this is a client-paid B2B project that I built when I was working at FPT. This is my proudest one and my most colossal one yet. 60 mil VND for 6 months, 3 environments, 40 pages, 70 tables, 11 CI workflows, roughly 300k LOC.
#2 Syncnapse: my most innovative project yet. It's an organizational agentic system. Won first prize in the AABW Hackathon. Around 2500 participants, 300 teams, worldwide.
#3 Credence: an agentic workflow platform to solve a bank's pain point. Made the top 20 out of 200.
#4 IteaLab: built a landing page for a coding community in my uni called Itea Lab. Got a lot of praise, yet I won't stop upgrading the UI. Hope this inspires.
#5, 6, 7: Gi Cung Duoc, Lexicode, Architect: all three are hobby apps. Built to solve real problems I myself am encountering.
My most primitive projects when I was a noob:
#1 BlockScan: my first Next.js app ever.
#2 valentinegift: built without AI in 2 hours to present it to my gf. Mobile view only. The most nerdy thing I've ever done.
#3 carbonio: my first hackathon where I won a cash prize. Didn't know Claude could code back then.
My Experience
Automation Test Engineer at FPT Software
I landed my first job ever as an Automation Test Engineer at FPT Software in December 2025 and still contribute to this day. I'm not really into this kind of role because I prefer building products. But since it helps keep me warm, I just let it ride.
I first joined the company via their fresher program, which is an apprenticeship that is probably better than just an internship, as I can write on my LinkedIn profile that I got a full-time job LOL. There were around 20 people in the batch at that time, and a few of them were still in touch with me when we all became official. I still miss the feeling when everyone was just as clueless as I was. They were new, innocent, happy. I volunteered to be Class Leader notwithstanding being the youngest person in the whole building, and I'm somewhat proud of that.
After learning basic testing lessons, we were all transferred from FTown 1 to FTown 3 to get hands-on with real projects to advance our studies. It's basically OJT. Higher pay, closer to real-world engineering workflows. There I met my mentor, DatTT32. He's calm, deliberate, humble and modest, and he treats me like I was his own brother. Thanks to him, I have everything I have today.
While at OJT, I joined an AI skill contest in the project I was OJT in, and I won third prize even though I had very, very limited access to their system. Yah, I consider this a W.
Then, we graduated from the Fresher Program, and due to my good performance, I got allocated to a project sooner than everyone else (another W). My project was called Maple Drive and was reorganized into Kairos roughly 4 months later, where I got a chance to be an internal leader. My responsibility was higher than the other QAs'. Besides my own tasks, I supported them in many ways, and I'm happy that I was able to do that.
Freelance
Yeah, I do freelance projects to help me pay my Claude bills.
Notes
For the brothers and the sisters, I'm just 20 years into this life, but I know for a fact that staying up late will fry your brain and drain out your energy. And drink enough if you can't afford hospital bills. Love you all.
Video games should never be an obstacle in your endeavor. They should never be anything that takes away your precious health (says the guy who spent 6000 hours on Steam).
